The Heartbreak Kids: Season 2.23

Brandy currently resides in South Dakota and is living out her dream as a full-time yoga teacher. She is incredibly thankful to have her husband Mike, daughter Mischa, and chihuahua Mojo at home encouraging her on this path.

In November, Brandy will celebrate her two year anniversary of practicing exclusively Ashtanga 6 days a week. And though dedication to home practice can prove difficult, she continues to be inspired, and finds it helpful when she can look forward to the occasional trip to Columbus to visit her AYC family.

While honored to have been asked to speak on this podcast, she is a bit apprehensive about revealing certain details of her past that have thus far only been shared with close family and friends. But she is hopeful that her words will reach someone facing a similar situation.

She truly feels that Ashtanga has changed her life and looks forward to sharing the gift of this method to others, working hard to continue building the Ashtanga community in her hometown.

And, of course, forever grateful to her teacher Taylor for believing in her strength until she did.
