Brant Hansen, national radio show host and author, calls in to discuss his new book The (Young) Men We Need: God's Purpose for Every Guy and How You Can Live It Out. Does being a man mean being athletic, driving a truck, and getting rich (or "getting girls")? Some may be confused about what it means to be a man or why it matters.

Hansen writes, "I'm here to answer a simple (but not simplistic) question: What are men actually supposed to do? This book is about a big vision for manhood. We men are at our best when we are 'keepers of the garden.' This means we are protectors and defenders and cultivators. This is the job Adam was given: keeper of the garden."

Both in the book and in our conversation, Hansen communicates in a down-to-earth, fun and focused way with much practical insight.
