Chip Caray joined Rick and John to talk about Chipper Jones being inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame. Chip says he is fine with the 97% that Chipper got to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Chip told us he can’t speculate to the intentions of the people who vote and why no one has ever gotten 100% of the vote to be inducted MLB HOF. Chip and Rick debated whether Edgar Martinez is a Hall of Famer with Chip definitely thinking he is. Chip reminisced about some of the great games he recalled calling for Chipper Jones. Chip told us one of his favorite off the field stories about Chipper Jones and him having a conversation on a team plane about life, family and being a super star. Chip compared Chipper Jones and Ken Griffey JR’s career paths and them both being first overall picks and first ballot Hall of Famers. Chip has Chipper near the top of all players who played third base.
