After months of Presidential campaign for both the incumbent and the challenger, Brazil, one of the key nations in Latin America finally elected a brand-new President, Lula. Voters are excited about the new journey under this person, while all eyes are paying much greater attention to Lula's domestic economic policies. Are there any? Is Lula really well-prepared for this job? Some experts believe Lula won't bring any changes to the table, at least, not for now.


Marcus Vinicius De Freitas is Senior Fellow at Policy Center for the New South, focusing on International Law, International Relations and Brazil, and is currently a Visiting Professor of International Law and International Relations at China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing, China.
