In Exodus 16 they are tested with lack of food and in chapter 17, lack of water. God's provision in both events would become beautiful types of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the only one who can satisfy the hungering and thirsting of our souls. In this message we consider how the Manna typifies Christ as the Bread of Life.

There is also a sobering warning in this chapter concerning the sin of complaining.
