Georgia is not particularly welcoming to the craft beer industry . In fact, our state ranks 48th for number of breweries per capita. Yet, a new one will open its doors next year. When it does, the Oconee Brewing Company will pour its beer into cans instead of bottles. We talked with Taylor Lamm , one of the owners of the new brewery, about why it makes more sense to store beer in cans. Also, as part of our “ Break It Down ” series, we explain what the term “craft beer” actually means.
