Break It Down - Natalie Style

In this episode I share from 2 Chronicles 33:10-13

When we seek God and ask, He listens.

The problem is not that God is not listening. The problem is that we are not talking.

We live in a world full of noise and chaos and confusion, but when we quiet ourselves, when we get to a place of humility with arms raised - You are GOD alone , and you reign.

I bring my heart to you. I bring my requests. I bring my distress. I bring my worries. I bring the good to you, and that is when God listens.

The problem is not that God is not listening. The problem is that we are not getting quiet enough to hear His voice and ASK.

I’m BACK!

After taking a break this summer, I am back, and God gave me a word that ripped my heart and had me on my knees!

This morning, in 2 Chronicles 31:5-10, when we seek God FIRST - He gives us what we NEED and MORE!

I had forgotten how much God truly CARES for me.

This morning through tears I share my heart being broken before the Lord and allowing Him to renew my spirit.

Our job is SEEKING HIM FIRST

- Humility and Obedience

His job… being the GREAT ALPHA and OMEGA.

GOD CARES ABOUT YOU.

Yup. LEVITICUS actually has some great nuggets!

It’s a book I’d usually avoid reading in the Bible because it was boring and full of laws.

As I’ve been studying it now it’s given me a fresh perspective and insight into Gods love and FIRE.

This morning was hit my heart is what matters MOST to God.

Relationships.

Respect - Gods FIRST instruction to the Israelites- RESPECT your parents. Your FIRST authority in your life.

Rest- TRUST Gods provision for your life. It’s NOT ALL on YOU. Rest = TRUST.

Replace- He then commands them to NOT make images or have false gods.

What hit me about this is what are things/ people we make FIRST resource and not God.

Living in this world, but NOT of it.

This means we LIVE Gods way - not the worlds.

Respect, Rest and do NOT Replace.

In this episode I share from Daniel 4

Daniel interprets the Kings dream and it’s NOT a happy one!

It’s about his PRIDE and if he KEEPS it then a great tragedy will come upon him.

He doesn’t REPENT and continues living a life of thinking and SAYING HE BUILT the glorious kingdom that displays HIS majestic splendor!

Immediately the prophetic word given by Daniel was released.

And…what happens when we humble ourselves… humility is the secret sauce to your GREATEST LIFE in Jesus!

Let’s be true disciples of Jesus humbling ourselves to display HIS glory in EVERY area of our lives!!

In this episode I share from Isaiah 38:1-7

God gives a prophetic word to Isaiah to tell the King Hezekiah that the illness he’s suffering from is going to KILL HIM.

Hezekiah responds with PRAYER, TEARS and PETITIONING for HIS LIFE!

God then sends a message to Isaiah to tell him that God heard, saw and is ADDING 15 years to HIS LIFE!

God HEARS our prayers, he SEES our tears and he ADDS the GOOD to our LIFE!

Do we personally have a relationship with God that he would CHANGE his mind because your FAITHFULNESS and OBEDIENCE to Him?

This hit me.

God desires hearts that are ALL IN for HIM.

Then, we will SEE his favor and goodness in our lives.

Are you ALL IN?

In this episode I share from Ephesians 5:1-18

Your belief in God will determine your BEHAVIOR.

If you believe he is only a loving and kind God and MISS the things he HATES…

You will miss the ACTUAL MANDATE he’s given us as TRUE BELIEVERS of JESUS.

Paul writes in Ephesians 5… Be IMITATORS of God…

God is LOVE and RIGHTEOUS ANGER for the SINS of this world.

We are to be a LIGHT that beams LOVE and CONFRONTS the DARKNESS of this world.

NOW is the TIME to RISE.

No more lukewarm BELIEF.

We need TRUE, REAL KINGDOM BELIEVERS to walk in the authority and DOMINION God has given US through JESUS!

Your FULL belief in HIM will determine your BEHAVIOR.

What do you BELIEVE?

In this episode I share one of my favorite stories in the Bible about TRUTH EXPOSED.

In John 8:1-11 is the story about the woman caught in the act of adultery.

Jesus doesn’t condemn her. He doesn’t shame her.

He stoops down to her. He looks at her accusers and asks them IF they haven’t sinned go ahead and throw a stone.

This shows…JESUS LOVES US.

He confronts the SIN. LOVES the person.

Go and SIN no more he says to her.

Jesus wants us to confront our sin.

He cleanses US.

Then…CALLS US HIGHER!

We first must allow God in our hearts and search us to cleanse everything NOT of Him.

Live in TRUTH & FREEDOM!

In this episode I give a HARD, but NEEDED TRUTH…

In 2 Corinthians 2:14-17 Paul shares how the fragrance WE have in God will be life-giving to some and death to others.

Gods WORD IS offensive.

The TRUTH exposes the LIES.

LIARS do NOT want to found out.

Truth- I share today how MANY Christians have twisted “God loves everybody” to not share the TRUTH of Gods word that YES He loves everyone, but does NOT LOVE SIN!

If we don’t share the TRUTH with people about what Gods TRUTH IS…we will have to give an account to God on WHY we didn’t.

Gods approval should be GREATER than the approval of others.

Truth WILL WIN.

What SIDE will you CHOOSE?

This is such a powerful story about Jesus being for EVERYONE!

God prepares BOTH hearts.

A Roman officer and Peter.

One NEEDING a message that God is FOR him and one that needs to deliver the message GOD IS FOR HIM.

God meets them BOTH.

God speaks to them BOTH.

God tells them WHAT to do.

Both receive the word.

Both OBEY.

Both greatly BLESSED because of the obedience to Gods direction.

I break down this powerful story to remind us that JESUS IS FOR EVERYONE!

In this episode I share from Psalm 111

The FOUNDATION of our life must be BUILT on Gods TRUTH.

When we lose our AWE of who God is we then don’t receive what he desires for us.

How we view Him is how we RECEIVE him.

The ONE and ONLY thing in this life you can TRUST FULLY IN is JESUS.

His character and words NEVER CHANGE.

He is our strong tower and safe harbor.

We can bank our entire life on HIS WORD.

When we put ALL our trust in him our life GROWS in wisdom -

Wisdom gives us the sound mind to make RIGHT and Godly choices/decisions.

Why would we not seek that with ALL our heart?

I pray this morning this word would encourage you to lay it ALL at Jesus’ feet - you can trust HIM WITH EVERYTHING.
