———
RADICAL: a person who advocates thorough or complete political or social reform
When God breaks into our life, and we respond by repenting of our sin and surrendering our entire life to Jesus and the way of His Kingdom, we’re radically transformed to live a Godly life. As God has done this through His divine power, we need to take every effort to live like and for Jesus.
1. Why should we grow we grow in godliness?
a. Because Jesus died and rose again
b. Because Jesus is coming back
c. Because the way we live this life matters
2. How should we grow in godliness?
a. Trust in God’s power
b. Get to know God better
c. Make every effort
d. Keep our eyes on the eternal goal
———
QUESTION:
1. In what ways have you been struggling to live an increasingly godly life?
2. Knowing that we’re given everything we need to live a godly life, what’s been holding you back from ‘making every effort’ to live it out?
3. In what ways can your small group become more intentional in helping one another increasingly grow in godliness?
