Are we becoming like the Pharisees and the scribes?

I want to remind you of the moment Jesus had with the adulterous woman...

Does this story seem like what is being played out today?

The church today is doing exactly what the Pharisees & scribes we're doing when they threw this adulterous woman at jesus' feet, demanding judgment, and using the scriptures to back it up.

We're taking the world and throwing it at the foot of Jesus saying "judgment reign down on this sinful world"...

We're prophesying judgment & condemnation to it…

We think Jesus is standing next to us, backing up our words of judgment and condemnation…

But I have an inclination that Jesus is doing what he did with the adulterous woman...

Jesus is getting down in the dirt with the world saying, "I'm inviting you into a new life with me"..

1 Corinthians 5:17-21 says "God through Christ is reconciling the world back to himself, not counting men's sins against them...

If God is not counting men's sins against them then why are we?

If Jesus came not to condemn the world but save it.. Then why are we condemning the world?.......
