Hey Karaoke Nation this is Jordan (and Katy) here at Return of the Mic and we wanted to say thank you for your listening support. We are taking a breather this week as we prepare our 10-episode long series covering every facet of Contest Season. Please be sure to join us next week and in the meantime, get someone new to listen in, especially if they are interested in the contest! So to recap: Break (take a load off), Contest Season (let’s get down to business), and introduce Return of the Mic to some new people during this time (play it over the loudspeaker at your job, play it loud in your car with the windows down and do NOT avoid eye contact, put a sticker on your car [also, we need stickers], kindly ask to invade someone’s bubble and lend them an earbud [if they say no, disconnect the earbud and turn the volume up - who cares if you’re in an elevator full of corporate suits and Katy just said the word ---------!) Long story short: listen in if you are into the contest, know someone that should be in the contest, know someone that sings in the shower, car, restroom (awkward), grocery store, library (sssshhhhh), or if you believe the contest has the potential to be a spectator sport.
