I started my day helping a homeless man named David…and ended up being his getaway driver from the cops. (Not exactly the ministry I had in mind.) The next day, David disappeared like Jesus slipping through a crowd, and God whispered, “Go get tacos—homeless folks love tacos too.” So I loaded up breakfast tacos, scribbled “God Loves You” on the bags, and handed them out with every dollar I could dig up. Somehow my wallet kept coughing up surprise cash like a divine vending machine until there was nothing left. By the end of the day, I had no money—but I was stuffed with tacos and overflowing with God’s joy.
