Christian unity is God’s gift to the church made possible only through the blood of Jesus Christ. However, it is such a fragile reality that it needs constant reinforcements as well as breaking barriers that prevent us Christians from living as one.

1. Affirm our UNITY in Christ (Philemon 16)We have one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all
(Eph. 4:4-6)

2. Respect our DIVERSITY in Christ (Philemon 13-14)The finished work of Christ brought peace and ended the hostility between Jews and Gentiles
(Eph. 2:11-13)

3. Challenge our PREJUDICES through Christ (Philemon 15)The on-going work of Christ sovereignly places us in situations where we have opportunities to break down barriers.
