Breaking Barriers: Jesus, Reclaiming the Sabbath Part 2
(Luke 6:6-11)
Last week, we saw Jesus confront the Pharisees’ legalism over Sabbath practices. Today, we step into a “sting” operation where the Pharisees attempt to trap Jesus in disregarding Sabbath laws. This passage also challenges us to examine whether our faith is grounded in God’s grace or entangled in ritual(s) that lead to self-righteousness, blinding us to God’s heart for mercy and restoration.
