Breaking Barriers with Major Charity Adams Earley

Listen Later

Robert & Shayna dive into the incredible story of Major Charity Adams Earley - the first Black woman officer in the U.S. Army and a true trailblazer. From her early days in the segregated South to leading the all-Black, all-women 6888th Battalion in World War II, Charity’s journey is all about breaking rules, standing her ground, and changing the game.

We talk about how she handled racism head-on in the military, led over 800 women through war zones to keep soldiers connected with their loved ones, and never let anyone tell her what she couldn’t do. She didn’t just make history - she redefined what leadership looked like, with smarts, strength, and serious style.

This episode is all about legacy, leadership, and what happens when someone refuses to settle for less.
