Since the beginning of time, sharing a meal with others has always provided an opportunity to unite and comfort each other. For the early church, breaking bread united them in their mission and comforted them in their exhaustion. Today, as we gather around the Lord's Table in the breaking of bread, we too can find comfort for our weary souls. Take up and eat!
