Rick Kirkham has lived a life fit for a novel and/or a movie. As a youngster, he was a natural journalist. He began by documenting his daily activities via film. Rick was well ahead of his time.
He was a regular on American Bandstand as a teenager. Rick was a dancing machine and loved every minute of it.
The taste of television led him on his way to a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Fresh out of college, Rick was a crime reporter and accompanied police on drug busts. He had no fear.
Rick's career continued to blossom and he landed on the TV show Inside Addition. He met and interviewed famous people as well as pulled off stunts of different sorts such as being shot out of a cannon, wrestling an alligator and even being lit on fire.
After nearly eight years on Inside Addition, Rick's career hit a fork in the road as he battled drug addiction.
Life took a turn but Rick fought back and has since been open about those personal struggles and is an outspoken advocate for sobriety.
