Philippians 1:21-26 begins with a powerful statement from Paul: "For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Paul writes about how he is hard pressed between a desire to depart and be with Jesus, and the necessity of his service on earth. In this message, Pastor Nate teaches about the three things that Paul shows us about death: that it is a departure, an encounter, and far better. Paul has a deep desire to be with Jesus, but expresses a willingness to delay his departure, knowing that he is living for a purpose. Pastor Nate encourages us to remember that as long as we are still breathing, God is still working.
