Member of The John Birch Society, Willie Shazier, talks about how, as a black person, he was able to find success in his own life and to break out of the stereotypes often placed on "people of color." He mentions his relatives, "The Seven Habits of Highly-effective People" https://www.bing.com/search?q=the+sev... by Steven Covey, and the influence of John Maxwell. He highlights the importance of planning in life to achieve one's goals. Also, Willie gave a little insight as to how the leadership training given in military service has benefitted him. Toward the end of the video, Willie's wife, Venise, tells how, as a Polynesian, she is able to also reach out to people from various backgrounds and find common ground. Willie tells how he came to be part of The John Birch Society,  and both encourage people to come and see rather than to trust everything someone says about JBS.
