In today's episode we discussed about issues of fear; how fear incapacitates and stops one from entering into rest and the place of joy that Christ has given to us. We also carefully looked through the bible for places where godly fear was mentioned (Proverbs 1:7, 10:27, 14:26-27, Psalms 19:9), and we were able to see that there is a clear difference between the 'the fear of the Lord, and fear of people, things, situations, or the devil'. Godly fear is good, while fear itself is a tool in the hands of the devil. To fear God, is to honor and trust Him. While when you begin fearing things, situations or the devil, it becomes a snare.
