Comparison can be such a sneaky thing. We can start out admiring someone for what they can do or what they have, but somehow it starts to change into comparison. We might start thinking what they do or what they have is better than what we have, and then start to despise what we have in our own hands. That perspective can create a lot of bitterness with only frustration and discontentment in sight.
