The narrative of success that involves attending college, landing a cushy job, and swimming in a pool of wealth is one we've all heard. But, what if that's just not your dream? Picture me, a fresh-faced college graduate, ready to don the blue uniform of the NYPD, suddenly changing course to pursue entrepreneurship, a path filled with risks and uncertainties. It was a bold step, fueled by a desire to break free from a generational cycle of traditional career paths that didn't resonate with my definition of success.
