Praise the Lord! Family, today we are addressing the costs involved in breaking new ground. Jesus told the disciples, “Can you drink from the cup I am about to drink?” (Matthew 20:22). This cup signifies the challenges and the price you must pay for greatness. You cannot be a partaker of the glory unless you’re also willing to bear the weight of the cross.
In Luke 12:49-50, Jesus speaks of fire—a fire He came to set upon the earth. Yet He also speaks of a baptism that He must endure, a stretching and refining process, a journey that would not be easy but would be worth it. Likewise, if you want to experience the glory of God in your life, you must be willing to endure the process of refinement.
