Late July 27th 2022, Simms Fishing was acquired in a blockbuster $192 million deal by Vista Outdoors. Before the merger, Vista was valued at $1.6 billion and served as the parent company to big names in the outdoor industry. 

The Vista Outdoor portfolio touts brands like Savage Firearms, Camelback, Camp Chef, Bushnell Scopes, Remington Firearms, Federal Ammunition, and Bell Helmets to name just a few.
