Hey my sisters! 💜 After being away for a few months, Nette is back and this time, she’s talking about something we all need to do sometimes: pause.
Life can move so fast that we don’t realize how much we’ve been carrying. In this episode of Breaking the Silence, Nette gets real about returning to her voice after a quiet season, embracing the changes God has been making in her life, and recognizing what happens when we stay busy instead of slowing down to process what we’re feeling.
As she approaches the anniversary of her father’s passing, Nette shares honestly about grief, triggers, transitions, and the emotions that can surface when we finally give ourselves permission to stop and feel. She also reflects on how grief can extend beyond losing a loved one—it can come from leaving a job, changing careers, letting go of expectations, moving into a new season, or releasing the life we thought we were supposed to have.
This episode is a reminder that it’s okay to feel your feelings. It’s okay to grieve. It’s okay to pause. But we don’t have to stay stuck there.
Nette encourages you to practice self-awareness, move your body, stop isolating, use your voice, and most importantly, invite God into the places you’ve been avoiding. When we pause and process with God, He can comfort us, heal us, and help us keep moving forward in purpose.
In this episode, we’re talking about:
Returning to your voice after a quiet season
Grief and the unexpected triggers that come with it
Processing emotions instead of brushing them aside
Grieving life changes, transitions, and unmet expectations
The connection between staying stuck and refusing to move
Self-awareness and knowing when it’s time to pause
Allowing God to comfort you in difficult places
Honoring what you’ve lost while embracing where God is taking you
Continuing to move forward, one step at a time
My sister, this is your reminder: Pause. Reflect. Process. Allow God in. Then keep moving forward.
God’s love for you has never stopped. His love never fails.
Until next time, keep speaking, keep moving, keep healing, and keep breaking the silence. 💜
— Nette

Lynnette hosted a special edition of her "Breaking the Silence Podcast" featuring Minister Teresa Farmer as part of her new "Women Overcoming Everything" series, where women share testimonies to help others overcome similar struggles. Teresa shared her powerful healing journey that began in 2011 when she started therapy after realizing she wasn't happy and needed help dealing with multiple forms of abuse, trauma, and self-sabotaging behaviors she had been carrying since childhood. She discussed how therapy combined with her Christian faith helped her overcome self-doubt, learn to trust God as a loving father, and heal from various physical illnesses including cancer, while emphasizing the importance of allowing God into all areas of life including the difficult and painful ones. The conversation explored how healing involves facing and processing grief, forgiving others, and learning to see God not just as a spiritual provider but as a caring father who wants to be involved in every aspect of life.

Many people sit in church every Sunday carrying silent pain while wondering if healing is truly possible for them. In this powerful and transparent episode of Breaking the Silence, host Lynnette Anderson opens up about healing, grief, emotional wounds, and learning to trust God in broken places.
This episode dives deep into the gap between believing in God and truly trusting Him as a healer, comforter, and restorer. Lynnette shares her personal journey through grief, depression, anxiety, and emotional pain after losing her father, and how God met her in those hidden places to bring healing and freedom.
Together, we discuss:
~Why many believers silently suffer while appearing whole~How emotional wounds from childhood, grief, rejection, and trauma continue to affect our lives~Why healing hurts and why many people avoid the healing process~The dangers of filling emotional voids with distractions, busyness, overworking, and silence~How surrendering to God allows true healing to begin~Learning to know God not only as Provider, but also as Healer and Comforter
This episode is a reminder that God never intended for us to carry pain alone. The voids we try to hide are often the very places God wants to restore.
Key Scriptures:
If you have been silently battling grief, depression, rejection, disappointment, fear, or emotional pain, this conversation is for you. Healing begins when we stop pretending and start surrendering.
Keep breaking the silence. Your healing matters. Your voice matters. And God wants to meet you in every broken place.
