-It’s impossible to stay angry for more than a few moments, you can learn not to stay angry for very long
-Be aware of moments when your mental states fluctuate, for example, you’re sad but something unexpected shifts your mood, and you are now paying attention to something else
-The idea is to learn how to pay attention to negative feelings without judgement or resistance
-Ask yourself, where do you feel anger in your body? How is it arising in each moment?
This may sound a bit too whoo-hoo or pseudo-scientific to some people, but from my experience - just kerning how to be aware of when you become angry is a great first step. A big step to controlling your anger.
