1 Peter 5:8 says, "...your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion...looking for someone to devour. How do we defeat him? The answer is found in the first part of that verse. "Be alert and self-controlled..." The key to not giving the enemy a foothold is to completely belong to God, our Father. This breaks all ties with the enemy.
