Yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky banned eleven (11) Left-wing political parties, including the Opposition Platform-For Life, Shariy Party, Nashi, Opposition Bloc, Left Opposition, Union of Left Forces, State, Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, Socialist Party of Ukraine, Socialists Party and Volodymyr Saldo Bloc. 

Zelensky claimed these parties had ties to Russia. 

Ukraine's Communist Party was previously banned in 2015.
