Entering the Breaks scene in 2001 coming from orchestral roots, North Carolina native Josh B found himself enthralled in the breakbeat culture. He started out playing at small parties and quickly found himself DJing at nightclubs and abroad. Josh ended up in South Korea and held a 2 year residency at Club Octagon and Han's Nightclub. Outside of the DJ, Josh B constantly attacks his growing fan base with a vast array of free downloads earning the nickname, "The Bootlegger." Gaining large recognition for his remixes and bootlegs, Josh B has released on most major labels to include, Booty Trax, Debbie D Records, Ravesta, Gigabeat, Base Industry Records, Wasted Records and Side B Records. Landing every release in the top 50 charts, Josh B has proven time and time again exactly why he is respected and supported by top names in the genre to include Marten Horger, Stanton Warriors, DJ Icey, Left/Right, DJ Fixx, Wes SMith, Deekline and Huglife to name a few.
