Today’s podcast is based on the story by poet and essayist Marra Lanot published in the Philippine Graphic magazine in 2021 to commemorate the death anniversary of National Artist Nick Joaquin. Nick Joaquin was the first Editor-in-Chief in the revived Philippines Graphic under the late Ambassador, media mogul, and philanthropist Antonio L. Cabangon Chua.
Titled “Nick Joaquin: The twilight years” is a warm and enlightening essay on the life and the last years of the quintessential Filipino writer who died in 2004.
