Carla shares the pain and discomfort while getting the baby to latch properly and the impact that stress can have on a woman’s milk production.  This learning process for both Mom and baby can cause a lot of stress and frustration. In Carla’s words “we both don’t know what the fuck we are doing.”  She talks about needing support from her doula and spouse while trying to breastfeed and shares how often she’s wanted to give up.
