Welcome to Season 2 of Tenderness for Nurses!

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you all for your support. I have been blown away by the feedback, the messages of encouragement and love. It is truly appreciated. I also want to say thank you to everyone who has given up their precious time to chat with me. I have learn't so much. I am surrounded by wonderful, amazing humans. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

This week we are chatting with Carly Jay Metcalfe. Calling this episode Breath is not only a huge shout out to Carly and the launch of her memoir, but many times through the first series, I have had to stop and take a deep breath.  I can do this, and I have, I am!  And I am loving every second of it. 

Carly chats about growing up with Cystic Fibrosis, having a double lung transplant and being diagnosed with a rare gynaecological cancer. She speaks honestly and openly about what she went through, how she coped and her healing pathway after these surgeries. We talk death, ghosts and that first poo after surgery!
