Sermon given at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in OKC on the second Sunday of Easter, April 23 2017. Thomas' doubt has been characterized as a flaw of temperment, and Jesus does seem to chastise him. But is doubt under those conditions surprising? The temporal (body) and the spirit are not so inseparable, and Thomas may be the victim of that symbiotic reality.
