In this short episode, I walk us through how to breathe properly and give a guided breathwork that can be done anywhere to shift your mind and body back into a relaxed state.
Many of us have forgotten how to breathe properly due to our high stress environments and schedules. When we're in our fight or flight or our stress state, we breathe short shallow breaths up high in the body, this keeps us in that state. When we lengthen out our breathe and breathe down into the belly allowing the belly to expand on the inhale and contract on the exhale we trigger our parasympathetic nervous system aka our body's chill mode.
