This week we are honored to chat with American Breaststroke legend, Brendan Hansen! Brendan had an illustrious career at the University of Texas winning the 100 and 200 breaststrokes at NCAA's all four years of college, becoming the first swimmer to ever accomplish that feat. Brendan then went on to represent the United States at 3 Olympic Games, winning numerous medals and breaking world record after world-record along the way. Following his retirement in 2012, Brendan worked in the corporate world for a short time before returning to his roots and becoming a coach at Austin Swim Club where he coached numerous swimmers to national-level meets. Today, Brendan serves as the Director of Team Services for USA Swimming! We hope you enjoy!
