Brendan Nally: Fire and Emergency calling for people who speak multiple languages
Fire and Emergency is looking for people who can speak other languages.
People and capability director, Brendan Nally, told Kate Hawkesby the organisation sponsors some of its staff into other languages.
"Their role is much more about connecting with the community over a whole range of incidents, than it is roaring into fires, now days."
He says extra language skills in our communities, which are becoming incredibly diverse, are highly valued.
