Brent is a retired 20 year police detective with 15 of those years in investigations, to include assignments to federal task forces related to gangs, fugitives, and narcotics investigations. He was a police academy instructor for 16 year. Additionally, Brent developed and taught the Field Training Officer (FTO) program for the State of Utah for nearly 10 years.
