The Tim DeMoss Show Podcast

Brent McCorkle (Co-Director of "Jesus Revolution")

Listen Later

We start off today's Tim DeMoss Show reflecting on the incredibly entertaining (and in the end, heartbreaking conclusion to the) Super Bowl which saw the Philadelphia Eagles lose 38-35 to the Kansas City Chiefs. We feature multiple clips from key Eagles (see the list below) and announce the "Big Game Survey" contest winners.

Brent McCorkle, co-director of the new movie Jesus Revolution then spends the bulk of the hour discussing the creation of the film, how he approaches his craft, what it was like working with and directing talents like Kelsey Grammer and Jonathan Roumie, and what he hopes audiences take away from Jesus Revolution. McCorkle's first project was Woodlawn, a sports drama based on the true story of Miami Dolphins running back Tony Nathan. McCorkle also co-wrote, co-directed and composed the original score on I Can Only Imagine.

Along the way we also hand out gift cards to Dunkin Donuts to help celebrate Dr. David Jeremiah's birthday today :). On a related note, Turning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah is WFIL's Ministry of the Month for February.
