Today’s podcast is about Brexit. I want to talk to you about how Brexit is affecting the political geography of the British Isles. Specifically, I want to discuss the single most important issue in Brexit negotiations today – what happens to Northern Ireland.

What I’m contending today is that the way Brexit is going, assuming a deal is worked out by the UK and the EU, either the UK loses Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland is drawn into the UK’s orbit.
