THE 4 TH ANNUAL GLIOBLASTOMA AWARENESS DAY ON JULY 20 th
The CTBTA donates 55-thousand dollars for brain tumor research to CT Hospitals in 2022. Glioblastoma is the most common primary brain cancer and often referred to as the most aggressive of brain tumors. More than 13-thousand cases of GBM (Glioblastoma) will be diagnosed in the United States this year. Brain tumors are the leading cause of pediatric cancer deaths and the second leading cause of cancer related death in individuals ages 15-39. Raising awareness about brain tumors is critical to get the necessary funding needed to support brain tumor patients and their caregivers.
