Imagine if no matter where in the world you are, at pretty much any airport lounge, you could find people who knew who you were. That’s what life is like for Brian Kelly, better known as The Points Guy. In 2010 he started a blog which has blossomed into a travel media company that teaches millions of people how to travel more and to travel better. When I was applying for my first credit cards, I read as much as I possibly could about the process and how to use my points on their site. Fast forward about eight years and I found myself creating a video series with them called Have Points Will Travel teaching people how to do the same. Brian and I chatted about all things miles and points, what we can expect from the new TPG app, what his favorite ways to spend his miles are, and how to travel safely during the pandemic.
