Brian has extensive experience in real estate, operations and now Deputy Mayor in charge of economic development for the city.
His career has taken him from underwriting large real estate projects, City Manager of Takoma Park, Senior Investment Manager Fannie Mae, to his current position as Deputy Mayor responsible for Workforce, acquiring new business for the city, affordable housing and managing a capital budget of over $160 million and counting.
His undergraduate degree is from University of Iowa in Biology and his graduate degree from Harvard
with a Masters of Public Policy, Financial Analysis and Economic Policy.
