Brian Koppelman is an American writer, filmmaker, and music industry veteran. He co-wrote the acclaimed film "Rounders", starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton, with partner David Levien. He and David have collaborated on many popular films and series, including “Runaway Jury”, “Runner Runner” and the hit TV series "Billions". He is also known for discovering singer/songwriter Tracy Chapman, writing/directing the  film “Solitary Man” starring Michael Douglas, and his amazing podcast “The Moment”.  We talk about the transition from unfulfilled music exec to leading Hollywood creator, how music continues to influence his storytelling, and he shares some great advice to actors while he’s at it.
