The historic ballpark in Patterson, New Jersey, is one of a handful of Negro League ballparks still standing and his efforts have led to a $94 million renovation of the stadium that will be ready by opening day of 2023. The New Jersey Jackals of the Frontier League have announced that they will play their home games at the former home of the New York Cubans and Black Yankees, and the Newark Eagles.
