In the lead up to the 2021 IMA Gala and Benefit Auction, art collector and CPA Brian Tucker held a public talk that looked at the art of art collecting. Having amassed an incredible collection of Indigenous and Australian artists, Tucker shared with audiences’ tips and tricks on how to start, where to start, and what to start with. In addition to tips and tricks, Tucker also shared how to develop an “eye” for art, how art collecting can support artists and the greater cultural sector, and even what tax incentives collectors can take full advantage of!
