AR Show with Jason McDowall

Brian Wassom (Warner Norcross + Judd) on Creative Expression, Property Rights, and Video Game Violence in the AR Age

Listen Later

Brian Wassom is a commercial and intellectual property lawyer focused on creative expression, commercial identity and privacy. He is a partner at Warner Norcross + Judd, and he’s become a recognized thought leader in the legal issues raised by augmented reality. Brian is both an accomplished litigator at the state and federal levels, and a frequent speaker and writer. He wrote the book on AR law called Augmented Reality Law, Privacy, and Ethics.
Brian is a big and early supporter of the AWE conference and AugmentedReality.org, where he serves as secretary and culture chair.
In this conversation, Brian and I explore several topics and scenarios in the use of AR that may be affected by the law, including: privacy, creative expression, property rights, cyber-bullying, and video game violence.
This is a really fun and interesting conversation, and I think you’ll really enjoy it.
