She received her MFA from The University of Tampa, and currently works as an adjunct professor of English at Seminole State College & Valencia College. Along with teaching, she is the managing editor of Burrow Press's online literary journal, Fantastic Floridas. Her short story, “I Against I” was recently published in Cosmonauts Avenue.
