This week, Adam is joined by film journalist and critic Devin Meenan to discuss James Whale's seminal 1935 classic Bride of Frankenstein. In this film, as Dr. Frankenstein attempts to put his monster-filled past behind him and settle in with his fiancée Elizabeth, he is pulled once again into the realms of the dark by an old mentor, who has found Frankenstein's monster and is obsessed with making it a mate.
Adam and Devin discuss the film's themes of feminism and LGBT subtext, as well as its relationship to Shelley's original novel.
