In the first episode of Season 2. Kyle, Scotty, and the new regular Robert go in deep on the FIU Pedestrian Bridge Collapse. This engineering mistake that caused injuries and deaths to victims who had no idea what was about to happen to them but also showed an institutional failure of checks and balances in the state of Florida. FIU openly admitted that they needed help to review and oversee the project from FDOT but the transportation office did not hear their callings. The engineer of record seemed to be over his head with the cracking started and should of stopped the work. The contractors doing the work should also known something was wrong and closed access to the road. As a country and engineers there is a lot to learn from this project so hopefully it will never happen again.
