Pastor Lance talked today about hearing from God and challenged us to let go of the baggage we carry around with us.

In this powerful sermon, Pastor Ryan Hollands dives deep into the Beatitude of "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" from Matthew 5:8. He starts by explaining the meaning of the heart, which represents our desires, thoughts, and affections. He emphasizes that having a pure heart means desiring, thinking, and caring about Godly things.

It's important it is to have a pure heart that can only come from God. Ephesians 1:7, Romans 3:23, Romans 3:10, and Romans 5:12 illustrate that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but through faith in Jesus Christ, we can be made pure and blameless.

We should seek a pure heart and trust in God's grace to make it possible. We should also examine our desires, thoughts, and affections, and ask God to transform our hearts so that we may see Him more clearly.
