Today our series in Jude continues, as Lloyd Pulley brings us the second half of a message titled "Keep Yourselves in the Love of God". That sounds like a perfect place to be, doesn't it? There are certainly a lot of people and forces out there who would love to keep you from experiencing God's love, but the Bible provides us with some good guidelines to keep that from happening.

The world is changing by the day. And it's not changing for the better. As the challenges grow, how can we keep grounded in our faith? How can we keep ourselves in the love of God? Glad you asked!

The consequences of sin are there. So let's ask a question today - how can we manage to keep ourselves in the love of God when all we see around us is depravity and temptation.

The title of today's message says it all - Justice Justified. There is a price that will be paid by those who reject Jesus Christ. Justice will be served. It reminds us of the difference between justice and mercy. Justice is getting what you deserve, mercy is not getting what you deserve!

We've all heard the expression "what goes around, comes around". It really is true and we can all see examples of bad behavior eventually catching up with us, or someone around us. In verses sixteen through nineteen of Jude's epistle, Jude reminds us of the kind of activity that God really detests, and the consequences of persisting in that bad behavior.

Actions have consequences, as we all know. The world is going to be judged one day, and the scene will not be pretty. For Christians, the suffering and destruction won't be an issue, because we won't be here, but it's our responsibility to make those around us aware of what's ahead of them is they don't get right with God. Our scripture text today is Jude, verses twelve through fifteen.

Today we return to our verse by verse journey through the epistle of Jude. Jude's letters was all about contending for the faith, and part of contending for the faith involves identifying false doctrine, and those who spread it. It's a major problem in the Christian church in the year 2026, just as it has been for twenty centuries.

One of the biggest gaps between man and God is created by man when he tries to "go it alone", instead of trusting and relying God. We've all been guilty of that, and we can see in our rear-view mirror, just how badly those times ended for us. Today pastor Lloyd brings us the conclusion of a message from Jude verse twelve and thirteen, titled "The Tragic Reign of Self".

As Christians, we should also have a very healthy respect for God. He is, after all, the one who created us. One of the most popular ways of disrespecting God is to rely on your own wisdom instead of God's. That kind of attitude leads to one thing - tragedy. We can see the evidence all around us.
